But, I have managed to do a little bit of music, and I'll get back to it, I'm sure. Spring is approaching, so have a good one!
Well, I've been a bit quiet recently. I've been busy building my boat and putting all sorts of boatbuilding videos up on YouTube (Link below , if you're interested)

I'm in the process off remixing, remastering and generally fiddling with the recordings of the live jammed performance I did with KerryB at the Barnstedt Musikmeile last August. It's a kinda psychadelic, electronic, trance/dance type thingy and I think I'm quite pleased with it. Might release it as an album soon, in one format or another.
I'd also like to release an album of ambient music soon.... We'll see what comes :-)
My first ever online collaboration has just been completed. I've been working on a track with synkrotron, an electronic/ambient musician and thoroughly good guy from England. It's taken us a few weeks of sending tracks (stems) to and fro, but, as I say, the piece is now finished and posted as an .mp3 on Soundcloud.
You can hear it here; I've been putting this off for ages, but I've finally pulled the trigger and gone for a new (2nd hand) studio computer. My old one has been a bit of a nightmare for years - giving me frequent 'blue screens of death', with the frequency increasing recently despite my best efforts to solve the problem.
Anyhow, it's time to bin it now. I don't have extreme computing needs and find that an Intel i5 core processor with 8GB of RAM will deal with anything I throw at it, so I've gone for a used Thinkcentre. Obviously these are built as stable but boring office computers, but I am sure it'll be a significant improvement on the piece of junk I had previously. Stable is good!!! Now I've got the task of setting up the stack of software that is involved in music/video/fractal/photo editing. It'll take a few sessions, no doubt!!
I've got a track out on this charity compilation album. Please support the cause by buying it!!! :-)
I've submitted a track for a Movember charity compilation that is planned for release on Bandcamp any day now. Details as soon as I know them. Watch this space :-)
I've got a new track out on the Ambient Online Volume 8 part 3 album. You can check it out here;
ambientonline.bandcamp.com/album/ambient-online-compilation-volume-8-part-three I've been getting a few plays on the radio recently, which is very nice :-) To my knowledge, I've had 3 plays on Radio Zusa in northern Germany, a track played on Lismore's River FM in Australia and am a contributing artist on the new Ambi103 Radio that can be heard here;
ambi103.com.hostbaby.com/index/ I've just released a new Bandcamp only album entitled 'Ambient Radio', featuring a mix of previously unreleased tracks and the more ambient of the 'Become The Sea Itself' material. Check it out on the Audio page here, or here;

Here are a few tracks I've put out recently. Quite varied, I think.
Took a little break from recording for a while, but am easing back into it. I've put a couple of tracks up on Soundcloud recently and am recording some synth noodles from time to time. I recently bought a recording device that I now have permanently plugged in to my synth setup - means I can record instantly whenever I feel the need...
Played a most enjoyable live set yesterday at the Barnstedt Musikmeile - a charity event in aid of refugees currently housed in the area. Featuring KerryB on drum machine, the set can be heard here or on Soundcloud. (Maybe Bandcamp soon)
I'm lining up to release a new album of ambient music. It'll be a Bandcamp only release initially, although I'll also release it as a physical album on audio cassette (at least). More news soon!!!
I see former Labour politician Ed Balls wasn't exactly gushing about Radiohead's Glastonbury performance, describing it as "dirge-like" and "funereal". I do wish people who have absolutely no idea about contemporary music would learn to keep their fucking mouths shut. [end of rant]
In the interview published by ArtistPR (link in previous post), I mention my love of sailing and boat building. Here's a link to my other blog, following my latest boat building project :-)
sv Tapatya The website ArtistPR has just published a short interview with me. You can read it here;

I've just uploaded a video for my track "56". It's on YouTube, Tumblr, my video page here and down below. Check it out!!
Lots of jamming going on at the moment. Either alone with synth setup or together with KerryB on beats. Getting some very cool grooves :-)
Here's the setup as it stands; And here's a link to the website of the Barnstedter Musikmeile where I'll be performing on 19th August. The list of artists is in alphabetical order, so I'm last :-)
http://www.welcome-to-barnstedt.de/die-benefiz-musikmeile-barnstedt/2017-4-benefiz-musikmeile/ Finally mananged to find time to sit down and have a look at the broken oscillator on my MFOS Soundlab Minisynth. Turns out a chip (LF444) had blown. All mounted in sockets so easy enough to fix. All working again and sounding great.
The Ambient Online compilation volume 8 (part 1) is released today, including a track from me. I haven't heard it all yet, but what I have heard sounds great! Check it out and please download it here:
